BARCELONA’s Argentine star Lionel Messi, with his three signed jerseys, has received 50,000 doses of Kovid-19 vaccine from the Chinese Sinovac company and helped use it for vaccination of South American football players before the Copa America Tournament to be held this summer. According to the news in The Guardian, the agreement with the Sinovac company came true after Messi donated the jersey.

South American Football Confederation official Gonzalo Belloso said, “Sinovac managers admired Lionel Messi, who sent us three signed jerseys for us to send them. Football saved football,” said Gonzalo Belloso, the official of the South American Football Confederation. The Copa America Tournament will be held jointly by Argentina and Colombia from June 13 to July 10.
